Returning..
Hey, well I've finally decided to start playing guild wars again, after about a year and a half of quitting because I went off to play world of warcraft (which gets very old very fast) as opposed to playing gw for about 3 years before WoW. Anyway, I have all the campaigns, prophecies, Factions, NF, and EOTN.. I just don't exactly know what to do now.. I put my warrior in EOTN and it was boring, so I put my ele in and it was a bit more fun, but she dies all the time.. and that is so annoying..
All of my characters have come up to the last mission, if not beat, prophecies, but only my necro has beaten factions and my ele has gotten far in NF, and then I quit.. What would you guys recommend? I have a monk, ele, warrior, necro, ranger. I'm thinking I should put a few characters through NF or factions before putting them in EOTN, for the skills and / or equipment.. Not to mention I need money for new weapons and such, so i'll need skills to farm spots in different campaigns.. Sorry for such a long post, but I could use some advice on what to do with who.. I mostly enjoy playing my casters, like my necro and ele.. And I have a friend I can 2-man with. thank you |

Do whatevr floats your boat - what other advice could anyone give?
Start a Mesmer in Nightfall. Do EotN. There, that's my advice. |

Pick a main character and finish all campaigns and EOTN. That'll get you re-acquainted with the game and you'll pretty much know everything you need to know about the game.
Then be like everyone else and create an assassin to farm underworld with. |

Well the thing is I don't wanna 'burn myself out' you know? Like try and put all my characters through every campaign and what-not, it'll just wear you out just like anyone else.. What builds / farming spots are popular in what campaigns? Not every single one, just the big ones.. I heard something about ursan but i also heard that was nerfed..

A11Eur0 - Yeah, that is a good idea.. I probably should just finish all of the campaigns on one or two characters.. I think I'll just do it with my necro considering she's already beaten factions and on the last mission or so in prophecies.

If you have access to MOX, do his quests, the reward is worth the time spent. Then go play around with bits of everything. A while back I was playing through factions with my war. Decided I needed a change and put my para through NF to the end.
Made for a refreshing change, I learned a bit about how to integrate different classes better and when I got back to my war, went through the rest of factions, and got past the big hurdle i had in nf no probs as well as getting some hero armour for 4 of my heroes in challenge missions. My war is on the second last mish in nf now and after that I'll probably do eotn again with another char. And play around with other professions, by my reckoning, if you have all games on one account you have 3 spare char slots. See what you want to accomplish and have fun. |

Thanks a lot for all the ideas I've decided to start out with my necro going into NF, only problem is i can't solo this damn quest to get to NF, can't do it with henchies either :X tried MM and SS, neither are working haha.. But yeah, I'll probably put my necro through NF and when that gets boring I'll just play whatever I'm in the mood for.
Thanks again! |

M.O.X. is basically a must to do on every character possible due to the 10k. You have 5 characters so thats 50k, 50 golem summoners, and 50 evil golen tonics. I say just work your way to the spots for the M.O.X. quests, then after that, pic a main, and go through all the campaigns and expansion, then work on the non-grind titles (or do the elite missions and dungeons). After that, there isn't much new things to do, so start over on another character.

pick one char right now, then do all the mishs and the expansion with him/her, then when youve done that do some PvP, some light RA and such, then go back to PvE keep switching cause i know it gets boring fast if you do one for a long time.

If you like the elte missions, join a guild that does them and join in.
Otherwise, there is PVP, and HM out there as ur other options, pretty muhc. Of course, finish the game on one or more chars first. |
